Form Builder
Web forms that turn visitors into contacts and start your follow-up automatically.
What it does
The form builder lets you create a shareable web form for lead capture, sign-ups, surveys or bookings. Each submission can become a customer and start a workflow, so a new lead goes straight into your WhatsApp follow-up.
Find it under Lead Forms in the main menu.
Building a form
- Go to Lead Forms and create a new form.
- Pick a ready-made form under Start from a template, or build from scratch.
- Click Add a field for each question: name, phone, email, dropdowns, checkboxes and more. Mark the ones that are required.
- Under Form settings, set the public title, the submit button label and the success message people see afterwards. You can also send them to a page of your own after they submit.
- Click Save form. You get a public link you can share anywhere, and Preview live shows exactly what visitors will see.
Sharing it
- Put the link on your website, in your social bio or in an ad.
- Send it inside a WhatsApp conversation or from a workflow step.
- Each form has its own link, so you can tell which form a lead came from.
What happens on submission
- The visitor fills in the form and submits it.
- Their details are saved under the form's Submissions, and if they gave a phone number they can become a customer.
- Depending on your settings, AIM Automate can then:
- add them to a segment;
- send them a thank-you message on WhatsApp;
- alert your team by email or WhatsApp;
- start any workflow that uses the Form submitted trigger.
Good to know
- Keep forms short. Every extra field means fewer people finish.
- Always ask for a WhatsApp number if you plan to follow up on WhatsApp.
- Pair every form with a workflow so no lead waits for someone to reply by hand.
Forms connect your website to WhatsApp: a submission becomes a contact, and the contact gets a conversation straight away.
